🌿 This Is Not Your Typical Church-Lady Advice

Let me be honest with you…

This is not the kind of advice you hear in the wives’ meetings at church. I’ve sat in those rooms. I’ve heard the same recycled suggestions. I’ve listened to women pour out their pain only to be handed advice that wasn’t biblical… wasn’t wise… and didn’t work.

A lot of what we’ve been taught as Christian women:

❌ taught us to tolerate dysfunction
❌ taught us to silence ourselves
❌ taught us to “pray harder” instead of heal deeper
❌ taught us to abandon our identity for the sake of peace
❌ taught us to idolize marriage instead of honor God

And it left so many of us feeling:

  • stuck

  • confused

  • disempowered

  • overlooked

  • spiritually drained

  • emotionally exhausted

But then God gave me fresh revelation — not tradition… not clichés… not church-lady culture.

One Friday evening, I collected my depleted self and went to wives’ group meeting. As I sat there listening to the facilitator share all kinds of insights of how women can serve their husbands better---in exchange for lovingkindness. I sat there with the most recent revelation from the Lord swirling around in my head. I felt the Holy Spirit nudging me to share and I was apprehensive. The thought of sharing it out loud, knowing how different it was from the rhetoric currently being shared, made me ask the Lord, again, if it was really Him that spoke to me. The more apprehensive I became, the stronger the urge became to share. I decided that if the revelation was rejected, at least I had been obedient. So, I raised my hand and the facilitator called on me and I said it---out loud.  When I shared what the Lord had revealed to me, it shook the room. I heard gasps of relief all around the room and "Mmms" in unison like a chorus being sung by a choir of rescued women.

I could tell the facilitator didn’t like it because it wasn’t the status quo. She tried to explain it away but there were too many scriptures supporting the revelation.

It wasn’t the “just pray and submit harder” script.
It wasn’t the “pretend everything is fine for the sake of appearances” message.

But do you know what happened?

After that session, so many women, of all ages, came up to me one by one and in pairs and threes— some with tears in their eyes — and some with the biggest smiles on their beautiful, glowing faces saying:

“Your words set me free.”
“I’ve never heard anyone explain it like that.”
“That was the truth I’ve been afraid to admit.”
“Thank you for saying what so many of us feel.”
“This is the first time I feel hope.”

They wanted my number. They wanted to stay in contact. They wanted more insight on the revelation. And that…

That moment was my confirmation. God wasn’t just counseling me. He was calling me. He was calling me to minister to women who are navigating seasons of:

💔 emotional confusion
💔 spiritual depletion
💔 marital numbness
💔 identity loss
💔 frustration
💔 self-sacrifice that costs too much
💔 cycles that drain the soul

Women who feel invisible, unheard, and spiritually stuck — even while sitting in the pews every Sunday.

God made it clear:

“They don’t need more clichés.
They don’t need more guilt.
They don’t need more shame-laced advice.
They need clarity, truth, and fresh revelation.”

And this Intensive is the full expression of that calling.

So...are you ready to reclaim your peace, reset your heart, and step into overflow?

FAQs

1. Do I need the Dethroning Your Husband workbook to join? Yes. The workbook is the foundation of the Intensive. You may use either the printed or digital version — whichever serves you best.

2. Will you tell me whether to stay or leave my marriage? No. My role is not to choose for you but to guide your discernment, spiritual clarity, and emotional grounding. There is no judgment toward women who stay or women who go. This journey helps you hear God more clearly so you can choose wisely.

3. Can single, engaged, partnered, divorced, or separated women join? Absolutely. This space is for women in any relationship season — single, dating, engaged, partnered, married, separated, or divorced. Every woman deserves emotional clarity and spiritual grounding.

4. How do I use the workbook if I’m not married? Simply replace the word “husband” with: partner, boyfriend, fiancé, ex, or the person you’ve emotionally prioritized. The teachings apply to all women because the patterns are universal.

5. Should I tell my husband I’m doing this Intensive? That choice is entirely yours. This experience is about your clarity, peace, and spiritual grounding — not about fixing, confronting, or criticizing your husband. Share when and if you feel emotionally safe and spiritually ready.

6. Is the phrase “Dethroning Your Husband” disrespectful? No. “Dethroning” is a spiritual metaphor. It means placing God — not your husband, not your emotions — on the throne of your heart. It restores your identity so you can show up in your life from a place of overflow, not depletion.

7. Is this Intensive Christian-based? Yes. This experience is rooted in spiritual alignment, emotional restoration, and Biblical principles — not religion or ritual. All women open to spiritual growth are welcome.

8. What happens if I miss a session? You will receive the replay and can complete the work at your own pace. You will not be removed or penalized.

9. Is this therapy? No. This is coaching, teaching, and spiritual facilitation, not clinical counseling or mental health treatment.

10. Will I be judged for my story or my situation? No. This is a shame-free, judgment-free, emotionally safe environment. Your experience, your truth, and your process are honored with compassion and confidentiality.

11. What if I’m embarrassed or afraid to share? You are not required to share anything until you are ready. You may reflect privately, participate quietly, or speak when you feel safe. Your dignity is protected here.

12. Can this Intensive support women who want to stay married? Yes. Many women join to restore emotional balance, reconnect spiritually, and stay in the marriage from a place of health, not self-abandonment. This work strengthens the woman — not against her husband, but within herself.
